Allegiant Celebrates Subaru’s “zero landfill” Anniversary

Allegiant Global® assisted the Subaru Indiana Automotive plant in becoming the first Automotive Manufacturing and Production facility to achieve “Zero Landfill”

May 2nd, 2007, Indianapolis, INIn a move that was a first for the US Automotive Industry, Subaru of Indiana Automotive (SIA) implemented a very strong Corporate Social Responsibility policy. The policy contributed to the development of a company culture focused on continuous improvement, environmental sustainability and environmental compliance. This culture, combined with the implementation of Allegiant Global’s total by-product management program, resulted in SIA attaining “Zero Landfill” status and a recycle rate of 99 percent.

Allegiant Global will celebrate SIA’s three-year anniversary and continuous achievement with a customer achievement award on May 4, 2007.
